School Uniform Policy

P.L.A.I.D. ACADEMY SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY

Note: Uniform shirts are available through Lands’ End Catalog and at www.landsend.com The school logo is available for embroidery on their school uniform clothing.  The P.L.A.I.D. Academy school logo number at Lands’ End is 9000045980.

 

Field Trip Uniform:

Boys/Girls:

  • Shirts: White Shirt with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it.
  • Pants: Black dress pants/chino pants
  • Shoes: Black dress shoes
  • Sweater (optional): Red sweater with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it.
  • Belt: Black

Optional for Girls:

  • Tan or Red Polo Dress with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it
  • Knit Jumper in Tan or Red with P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it and a white collared shirt underneath
  • Tan skirt or skort

Regular School Day Uniform:

Boys/Girls:

  • Shirts: any polo shirt or button-down dress shirt MUST have the P.L.A.I.D. Academy Logo on it
  • Belts: Shirts MUST be tucked in with a belt
  • Pants: Any color dress pants (no denim), may be pleated, flat-front or cargo.  Uniform shorts (no denim) may be worn in Sept & June
  • Shoes: Gym shoes with ties or velcro.  No slip-on shoes or heels for safety reasons.
  • Jackets/Sweater NO hoodies/jackets/sweaters may be worn in class unless it is a P.L.A.I.D. Academy sweater with a logo on it.

Optional for Girls:

  • Girls may also wear skirts of any color but, must be no shorter than above the knee length or knee length!
  • Dress/Jumpers may be worn but they MUST HAVE the P.L.A.I.D. Academy logo on it.

Gym Day/Casual Field Trip Uniform: (can be ordered through Lands’ End)

  • Shirts: Athletic tee in gray with P.L.A.I.D. Academy logo printed on it.
  • (optional) Jacket: Athletic Jacket in black with P.LA.I.D. Academy logo printed on it.
  • Pants/Shorts: Athletic pants/shorts in black
  • Swimsuit: Girls Y-back tug less tank in black and Boys jammer swim trunks in black.  Will not be needed unless notified.

 

Any accessories and hairstyle CAN NOT be distraction in the classroom.  All hair must not exceed the eyebrow or is held back so as not to interfere with vision.
